Shoah: Only a number
This drawing I made during the "Memorial Day" (January 27), a day to remember the victims of the Second World War and the thousands of victims of the Holocaust.
This work began after seeing all the videos and photos of the deportees, showing their arms marked for life with the numbers that the Nazis had chosen for their.
I have represented children (without a defined face)behind barbed wire above them with various sequences of numbers now because they were not more people but only number.

Questo disegno l' ho fatto durante la settimana "Giorno della Memoria" (27 gennaio), la giornata per ricordare le vittime della Seconda Guerra Mondiale e le vittime dell'Olocausto.
Questo lavoro è iniziato dopo aver visto tutti i video e le foto dei deportati, che mostravano le braccia segnate a vita con i numeri che i nazisti avevano scelto per la loro.
Ho rappresentato i bambini (senza un volto definito) dietro il filo spinato e sopra di loro varie sequenze di numeri , perché ormai non erano più persone ma solo un numero.

Here I have shown what the Nazis called "The Final Solution", that the gas chambers.
After watching a movie about this historical period close to us, I got the idea for this drawing. The door is white, because at first no one knew what was behind those doors.

Dopo aver visto un film su questo periodo storico vicino a noi, ho avuto l'idea per questo disegno. La porta è bianca, perché in un primo momento non si sapeva cosa c'era dietro quelle porte.
